Aspiring Presenters Bootcamp - English Track

Designed for aspiring presenters aged 9 to 15, the English track of the Aspiring Presenters Bootcamp 2026 is an immersive 3 half-day programme where participants learn what it takes to engage an audience, present confidently and express themselves naturally across different media.

Through hands-on activities and guidance from 987 DJs, participants will develop practical skills in hosting, storytelling, interviewing, improvisation, on-camera presentation and presenting for social media. The programme goes beyond classroom learning, giving participants opportunities to practise, record and receive feedback as they build their confidence as presenters.

The experience culminates in a live Aspiring Presenters Showcase, where participants put what they have learnt into practice and present in front of an audience, followed by a certificate presentation and photo session with the DJs.

Agenda

DAY 1 — Hosting & Presentation Skills
Meet the DJs and discover what makes a good presenter. Build confidence through hosting, storytelling, interviewing and presentation exercises.

DAY 2 — Social Media & On-Camera
Presentation Step in front of the camera and practise presenting naturally. Take on recorded interviews and social media content challenges, receive feedback and experience the radio broadcasting environment.

DAY 3 — The Aspiring Presenters Showcase
Bring everything together. Prepare and rehearse a presentation before taking the stage for the final showcase in front of an audience.
